Mudslingers: Pottery for Beginners Ever wondered what it’s like to throw clay on a pottery wheel? Come give it a spin at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, inspired by the innovative spirit of George Ohr, the “Mad Potter of Biloxi.” In this fun, beginner-friendly class, our instructors will guide you step-by-step as you learn the basics of wheel throwing and create two ceramic pots to keep. After class, we’ll glaze and fire your pieces—ready for pickup about two weeks later. Live out of town? We’re happy to ship your finished work for an additional fee. No experience needed—just wear clothes you can get messy and come ready to play with clay, right here where George Ohr’s legacy lives on!
