Colonial Summer Day Camp

Join General Washington’s ranks at the Colonial Summer Day Camp at the Old Barracks for an unforgettable week of exploring American history! Designed for children ages 9 to 12, the camp runs from July 13 to 17, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day. Registration costs $275 for Old Barracks Association Lieutenant Members and $300 for non-members.  Participants will experience life as it was in the 18th century, with activities such as cooking stew in the camp kitchen, marching to local historic sites including the NJ House and the 1719 William Trent House, playing 18th-century games, and more. Campers will showcase their newfound knowledge in a special ceremony for family members on the last day of camp. Plus, each camper will receive a t-shirt to complete their camp uniform.
