Fall Lecture Series: Arthur S. Lefkowitz

Kick off our Fall Lecture Series on October 15th with author Arthur S. Lefkowitz. Lefkowitz will discuss his book, “George Washington’s Dilemma.” “George Washington’s Dilemma” tackles the story of the French volunteers who helped win American independence. Volunteers were commissioned as officers in the Continental Army, and some had become great assets to General Washington, while others were frauds who came to America to make money. Lectures will begin at 6 PM at the Old Barracks Museum, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available. Copies of these titles are available for purchase in-store or at www.barracks.org. All proceeds go towards supporting the Old Barracks Museum and its mission.
