When: Wednesday, July 1st, 7PM Where: Open Source Gallery, 306 17th St, Brooklyn, NY 11215 Singer, songwriter and touring musician Nick Johnston founded The Pressure Kids as a college freshman in Nashville, Tennessee. The five-piece spent the mid-late 2010s cutting their teeth within Nashville’s indie rock scene, building a reputation for their exuberant live show and expansive recordings, what No Country for New Nashville would call “some of the most unique and lush indie rock coming out of Nashville right now.” Moving to New York City in 2021, The Pressure Kids, now bloomed as a vibrant collective, continue to spin their sprawling, raucous indie rock anthems for the loved and lost. Their long anticipated new LP Exit Glow arrives later this year.
