ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Now We Dream Through One Another is a participatory workshop led by Florida Prize Artist Mette Tommerup. The workshop unfolds in two parts. We begin in the gallery with a close look at the three pyramid installations and a conversation led by Tommerup about process, collaboration, and the relationship between individual marks and collective form. Participants then move to the classroom, where they will create mosaic compositions using small blue canvas squares on a 12 x 12-inch gold ground during a 45-minute making session. Returning to the gallery, everyone will work together to install the newly created works on the museum floor, forming the evolving installation, Now We Dream Through One Another. A live musical component will accompany the installation, transforming the collaborative process into a shared performance. The completed work becomes a temporary reflection of the wall installations—a shared landscape created by many hands. PRE- REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FREE
