Live Music

About the Artist: Mustang McGee is a mustachioed bassist who identifies as a horse.   He is known for his energetic presence on stage as a member of Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.  In his solo song writing efforts, Mustang explores melodically and lyrically driven soul, rock, and folk music.  Drawing influence from decades of soulful music, he creates post-modern sonic scenes that leave you asking “when was this made?”    In October 2024, Mustang released his first cosmic collaborations: “Ten Feet of Rope” and “Free Wheelin’.” Recorded quickly at Nashville’s Welcome to 1979 studio, these tracks capture the raw, live energy of Cosmic Country and showcase its signature swinging sound.  May of  2025, Mustang  released his debut full-length album, “Horseplay.” Recorded at the legendary Royal Studios in Memphis with producer Boo Mitchell, the album channels the soulful essence of the space that brought Al Green’s classics to life. The record is a fiery, romantic collection of songs that reflect years of creative growth. Featuring singles like “Where You Found Me” and “For a Long Time,” the album spans psychedelic folk, Southern rock, soulful ballads, and quirky pop, blending vintage vibes with timeless grooves.  Artist Socials: WEBSITE | SPOTIFY | APPLE MUSIC | YOUTUBE | INSTAGRAM | FACEBOOK Know Before You Go: Food Trucks: Soi No. 9 | BBQX | Wok n Go Picnic baskets, coolers, beverages, blankets, and lawn chairs are always welcome.
