Amy Leisure will teach a class on the basics of crochet using fabric strips. Participants will leave with a hook, a bowl, and the knowledge to create many fun projects. Ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian, class size limited to 10. Folkways fiber volunteers will be available to help students learn one-on-one. Sack lunch is recommended since the class runs from 10am to 2pm. $40 fee includes all materials and instruction. Register here.
