"Learn 2 Dance”proudly presents Hustle classes! Disco might be gone, but join us in our next series to find out why Hustle dancing has successfully survived, and still thriving, over the decades. Disco music isn’t the only music Hustle is danced to. Although many of the older Hustle dancers enjoy that music, the newer nightclub music helps draw the younger crowd. Come join us to experience the excitement of this fun, fast-paced partner dance that has spread across the world. Whether you register as a single or as a couple, everyone is welcome! Partner rotation isn’t mandatory, but it is highly recommended. By rotating partners you will meet other classmates, you will become a stronger dancer by feeling the different kinds of leads and follows throughout the classes, and the singles will have a partner to rotate to. All of this helps with the learning process to better your learning experience. Our beginner classes will introduce you to the basics of 3-count Hustle with very easy methods, and then expand into various beginner level patterns and combinations. The music played will be at a comfortable slow tempo to grasp the concepts. Occasionally slightly faster music will be played to practice getting used to the speed of some of the club music. The 3-count Hustle is a fairly simple dance, but the speed of the trending music can make it a challenge. With the techniques shown in class, the faster music is usually easily managed. Ready for that next level? We also have an intermediate program perfect for those that are already comfortable with the basics and already have the love for Hustle! These classes are in depth and will challenge your fundamentals to help you grow. You’ll definitely see how this simple dance can get very interesting and creative. This affordable 6-week dance program incorporates a private lesson to give you individualized attention, on top of the information-packed weekly classes that addresses both the group andindividuals.
