About this event
One of 33 upcoming events at Pacific Grove Museum.
Join us for a beautiful day at Point Pinos with birder extraordinaire Amanda Preece! Amanda will help us find birds and other wonderful flora and fauna, give insights about their natural history, and help us see the world in new and lovely ways. Everyone is welcome, and beginners to experts will get to enjoy the day. Details Duration: 2.5 hours Price: Free for Adopt A Bird Sponsors, $10 for Museum Members, $20 for General Why the difference in prices? We love offering these events for everyone at the Museum and outside it, but they do incur costs, including paying wonderful leaders, so we often do tiered pricing to make up for it. Registration: Required as space is limited Location: Near Point Pinos, detailed instruction will be sent with registration. Age Range: 10 & above What to Expect & Accessibility: Two and half hours of learning about birds with a fantastic naturalist and expert, as well as fellow bird lovers. The weather should hold well but the temperature may see a change, so be sure to prepare with layers, sun protection, and good shoes for walking. This trail is flat but has variable substrate, so accessible to those who can walk or roll on road, trail, and sand.
