#150: Figure Drawing with Practical Anatomy with Helen Oh

Time : 9:00AM – 12:00PM CDT on Sat — The course explores methods of capturing the essentials of rhythm, weight-bearing, and balance of the figure in line and tone. Recognition of anatomical ‘landmarks’ provides the basis of forms that describe action, tension, and motion in the body—the essentials in constructing convincing and expressive form in drawing. Each session begins with instructor’s demo that covers parts of the skeletal or muscle system and their relationship to figure proportions. Live model poses throughout. Open to all drawing media.
