An Abbreviated Approach to Academic Drawing with Matt Braun

In this workshop, I will start by sharing a variety of approaches to drawing the portrait. Renaissance Florentine through Nineteenth Century French Academic methods will be discussed, and we will come upon ways of synchronizing elements from each tradition. Handouts will be provided, we will do some exercises aimed at facilitating new ways of seeing, and demonstrations as well as one on one help will be provided.
