Class #420 – Watercolour Fluency with Lenin Delsol

Time: 6:30PM – 9:30PM CDT on Thu — I believe watercolour is a medium you have to become friends with. And who wouldn’t want to take a painting journey with a friend? I didn’t always feel this way. Watercolour used to fight me, until I stopped trying to control it and let it give me what it wanted to give. That’s when the fear went away. In this class, we’ll paint the portrait and figure from life, using transparent watercolour paints. We’ll focus on drawing and composition alongside colour. Whether you’ve never touched watercolour or you’ve been painting for years and want to push further, there’s room to grow here. I believe that when used with confidence, a watercolour painting can make as powerful a statement as an oil. Special Notes There is a $60 model fee payable to the instructor.
