Class #880: Portrait & Figure Drawing with Arturo Aldama

1:30 PM – 4:30PM CDT on Sun. The course will focus on drawing with perspective and finding a likeness, beginning at a fundamental level and increasing in complexity as the student advances. The students’ goals for this class are to gain confidence and understand their drawing. There will be a demo at the start of the session to demonstrate the direction and techniques that will be used to accomplish our drawings. The class consists of two portrait sessions and two figure sessions – both sets will be the same pose. We will only be using pencils to maintain focus and eliminate distractions brought by more complex media. With a good base of skill in drawing, paintings and even sculptures will improve!
