The band is comprised of accomplished musicians from the St. Petersburg, Florida area. With the members having busy careers in varying musical styles, they come together to pay homage to the music of their favorite artists. Currently performing the music of James Taylor, St. Pete Collective is: Patrick Bettison – keyboards, percussion, chromatic harmonica, backing vocals, MD; LaRue Nickelson – Electric Guitars; Vinnie Seplesky – Bass Guitar; Gale Trippsmith – backing vocals, percussion; Joey Interrante – drums; Chad Stivers – Lead vocals, acoustic guitar; and Jim Gilmore – sound.
