This step-by-step workshop introduces the fundamentals of wet felting. Participants will learn how wool fibers bond through soap, water, and agitation, transforming loose fibers into a finished felted textile. Instruction will cover: • Fiber layout and blending, Wet felting techniques, Fulling and finishing a scarf. Each participant will complete a soft felted scarf, approximately 60 inches long. All Supplies provided in class *A little splashing is part of the magic – the student is encouraged to bring a waterproof apron but not mandatory. Bio Fiber Artist Giselle is a self-taught fiber artist based in East Texas and the founder of *Moxie Fiber*. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, she honed her craft over the years, expanding into spinning, wet felting, weaving, and hand-dyeing.Passionate about ethical sourcing, she carefully selects high-quality fibers, working with local Texas farms and specialty vendors. She creates hand-spun art yarns, woven scarves, wall hangings, and felted table runners while also supplying custom fiber blends.Beyond creating, Giselle loves teaching and fostering connections within the fiber arts community, sharing her passion through workshops and collaborations.
