Calling all Junior Rangers! Join us on Saturday, May 16th at MacArthur Beach State Park from 9am – noon for a day all about the Florida State Parks Junior Ranger program. This event is a great way for kids to spend the day a John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, learn about Florida’s natural and cultural resources and make new friends. Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to earn the Junior Ranger member ID card, badge, and patch! Complete fun activities and earn stamps in your Junior Ranger passport. This event is free with park admission. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Event schedule: 9AM-12PM: Junior Ranger Activities – Collect your Junior Ranger Core Packet & Badge. – Participate in activities to earn stamps in your Passport. 10:30AM & 11:30AM: Junior Ranger Ceremony – Take the Junior Ranger Pledge with a Park Ranger. – Show us your completed Packet to earn your Patch. 12-1PM: Picnic with a Park Ranger – Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with your family & visit with Park Rangers.
