Dash Rip Rock is an American rock band known for their energetic blend of rockabilly, punk, and country music, forming a genre sometimes called "swamp rock." The band was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1984 by guitarist and singer Bill Davis. They quickly became known for their lively performances and humorous lyrics, capturing the spirit of southern rock with a punk twist.
