This class is for new or continuing students who want to refresh their essential drawing skills Instructor: April Christenson ( aprilchristensonartist.com/ ) Ages: Adults & Teens Prerequisite: None; class is for both beginning and continuing students Class Size: Maximum students in class: 8 – Minimum 2 Materials fee $15.00 for handouts payable to the teacher Description: This class is for new or continuing students who want to refresh or develop their essential drawing skills. If you can sign your name you can learn to draw! Each week you will get techniques and tips on how to draw just about anything! We start with observation techniques on how to really see what you are drawing. Then we will explore some essential pencil drawing tips you can use for drawing anything. You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw. A great stress reducer! Bring to class: 9”x12” spiral bound sketchbook (or computer paper) and a regular pencil or set of “graphite” pencils and eraser to class. “Graphite” pencils are regular pencil except they come in different hardness. If you get a set be sure it has “H” and “B” hardness pencils. You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw!
