Create motifs, images or texture on felt using scraps, embroidery needles, yarns and threads. Instructor: Tara Jon Manning, (www.tarajonmanning.com) Ages: Young Adult, Adult – Min 2, Limit 8 Materials Fee: $10 payable to instructor. Description: In this one session workshop, we will play with felt, embroidery floss and yarns to learn simple appliqué techniques. We will explore combinations of color, shape and hand stitched embellishment. Finished pieces can be used as patches, ornaments, charms or small gifts. Basic embroidery experience required.
