FUSED GLASS–in Molly’s Lafayette Home Studio:SAT, Nov. 7th, 9:00-11:30AM

You will learn the fundamentals of cutting, layering and designing with art glass to create your original masterpiece. Instructor: Molly Hargarten Adults, Teens, and Children 8 and up are welcome with an accompanying adult. Limit 4 students per class. Materials Fee: At the completion of the class, students will be charged $1.10 per ounce of glass used. Cash or check preferred: credit cards accepted. Description: Discover the vibrant world of kiln-formed glass. In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn the fundamentals of cutting, layering and designing with art glass to create your original masterpiece. With personalized, hands-on guidance from me, you will bring your unique vision to life. You will be able to make a suncatcher or table top piece of about 5”x 14”or Holiday ornaments. I will be there to help you along the way and with using the tools. No need to have any experience, just come with a sense of adventure and desire to learn a new skill….and have fun. It is helpful to have an idea of what you want to make (do a search for Fused Glass Art to get ideas). It will take about 1 week for glass pieces to be ready (I have to fire them in my kiln). I will contact each person upon completion of their pieces and indicate that are ready for ‘porch’ pick up. I also offer private classes for 3-4 people on the day/time of your choice.
