Adult & Teens – Designed for the absolute soft pastel beginner. We will discuss materials in detail, basic techniques and basic process. Adult & Teens – Designed for the absolute soft pastel beginner. We will discuss materials in detail, basic techniques and basic process. Instructor: Linda Bice Adult & Teens – Minimum 2, maximum 8 Description: Designed for the absolute beginner in pastels. We will discuss materials (papers and boards, pastel brands and types), style (abstract, realism), basic techniques (how to use the pastel stick) and basic process (how to create a simple painting). Each participant will complete a small technique sample work using what we learned. Note this will NOT be a completed painting, just a sampler for future reference. The class atmosphere will be one of comfortable supportive learning and experimentation.
