About this event
In this class you will learn how to take a Plein air sketch, along with photo references, and turn it into a larger work of art. Instructor: Jeanne Hougen Ages: Teens and Adults, age 15 and up Prerequisite: This class is designed for someone with some painting experience. If you are a beginner, please contact instructor. Class size: minimum of 3, maximum of 12 Description: This class is a perfect follow-up to Jeanne’s May class on Plein Air Painting, or for anyone who has done some painting outdoors. Plein air painting is fun, but what do artists do with all those Plein air sketches they create? In this class you will learn how to take a Plein air sketch, along with photo references, and turn it into a larger work of art. You will learn what information is best gathered from your sketch, and what is best taken from photo references.
