IMAGES FOR THE 2021 EXHIBITION HAVE BEEN POSTED. Aptly titled “The Story Of…”, Tyson Grumm’s new exhibition of 28 paintings focuses on visual storytelling. For Grumm there is magic in making a visual story. A story with no words and no sound told in the one language that every person at any age can understand: pictures. Throughout his career and practice, Grumm has told thousands of made-up stories and there are thousands more that he has yet to tell. He spends his days living inside his head, seeing fragments of what could later become a chapter in his story. These stories, when shared with others and viewed from a different lens, seemingly mutate and become the viewer’s story.
