POP-UP: EAST PROVIDENCE PAINTS AGAIN

Featured Artists: KATHLEEN WEBER, KATHY HODGE, CATHY CHIN, PAUL OLSON, EDWARD HUFF KATHLEEN WEBER I use oils, pastels, watercolor and gouache to paint a variety of subjects, mostly urban scenes, landscapes and portraits, inspired by the light and color I see everywhere I go in my daily life. KATHY HODGE These paintings explore the interaction of organic and abstract elements found in the small areas where nature is allowed to grow wild in New England. Their intricate patterns at first seem to echo the chaos and anxiety of our times, but inspire me to find order in their complexity. EDWARD HUFF Ed paints in watercolor, acrylic and gouache. Ed finds his inspiration from New England landscapes and marine subjects, such as working harbors, and often paints on location from direct observation. PAUL OLSON His paintings are inspired by numerous kayak and small boat trips to a favorite rock pile in our Narragansett Bay, and memories of play and discovery on the water. CATHY… View Source
