Monica da Silva and Chad Alger are a Brazilian-American duo whose self-coined Indie Nova genre beautifully showcases the magic that happens when Indie Pop and Bossa Nova come together to tell a story. Their original songs have been featured in the movie Lady Bird, in the Netflix film The Last Summer, and in a campaign for Tory Burch. Accompanied by Chad on guitar, Monica sings in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish, and also plays the flute and keyboard.
