Scarecrows in the Village

Celebrating 47 years of Scarecrows in the Village Every day from September 7 through October 25 An autumn tradition continues! For six fun-filled weeks, over 150 scarecrows line the brick pathways of our autumn-tinted Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations. The display is free and on view every day through October 25. Guests can vote for their favorite scarecrows via the Peddler’s Village mobile app. Creators of the winning scarecrows in each category win prizes. Scarecrow Festival September 19 & 20 A weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, and children’s activities. The event hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on both days. Congratulations to our 2025 Winners!
