This course will explain the common investment income types including bank interest, Treasury interest, dividends, distributed capital gains, capital gains on sales, bonds, digital assets, and more through the reporting forms. While many of these are straight forward from a tax perspective, others have some intricacies. While many clients participate in these, they do not necessarily understand what constitutes income and how it is (or isn’t) taxed.
