Sailors’ Knot Wreath Workshop

Starting with a single piece of cotton rope, create your own sailors’ knot wreath! Participants will use wooden jigs to help them create their wreaths. Materials are provided. Start times are staggered to allow personal instruction and assistance. Individuals may require more or less than the scheduled time. Participants who are interested in learning how to make different sizes of wreaths with a Turk’s head knot are encouraged to attend both this workshop and the Sailors’ Knot Ornament workshop on November 14. This workshop is led by Penobscot Marine Museum Education Director Jeana Ganskop. $60/participant Registration required Register
