From 1850 to the Prohibition laws of 1920, the volume of whiskey distilled, aged, and bottled here in Peoria led to enormous fortunes being made and the birth of equally prosperous secondary industries such as stockyards and cooperages. This bus tour departs at 10 a.m. from the parking lot across from Kelleher’s Irish Pub (619 SW Water Street). Tours cost $20 per person and reservations are required.
