Custom framing can be pricey, but this DIY framing process will give you contemporary frames for just a few bucks + your time! Participants will leave this workshop with a handmade 8″x10″ wood picture frame. In the first session, we will learn to cut frame stock from reclaimed 2x4s, and practice measuring, cutting, and clamping custom sized frames. In the second session we’ll use framing tools to secure our work, learn to cut glass, and apply finishing touches to our wood and frame assembly. Please note, this two-day workshop takes place on Saturdays, May 30 + June 6 from 10am – 12pm each day.
