“I’m down, but I ain’t out.” That’s the story of my life it seems. Most recently the theme of a new album and a new lease on life I’ve been granted. On March 11th, 2022, I celebrated my 37th birthday as well as the release of my debut solo record on CD and all the other major streaming platforms. Not bad for a guy who had put his guitar away and was ready to put his life to rest. “Down But Not Out V.01” has a honkytonk/90’s neo-traditional style of country music featuring lots of pedal steel and fiddle that is influenced as much by Social Distortion and Atmosphere as it is by artists like Dwight Yoakam, Hank Williams, and Jamey Johnson.
