"Southwest Landscapes: A Journey" An Exhibition of the Art of Steve Goetzinger

Steve Goetzinger is an Oklahoma based artist, who works mainly in oil and pastel mediums. Largely self-taught, he began dabbling in oil painting at age 28. He has painted off and on since that time, all the while intermixing his free time with numerous other hobbies and endeavors. For the past few years, he has benefited from instructions by prominent local Oklahoma City artists, Rick McClure and Dennis Johnson.Steve has always been drawn to landscapes because of his view that imagery is imbued with a deeper spiritual meaning. He now paints several days a week, where he tries to turn mistakes into new ideas, and where he observes formal rules and breaks them occasionally for a reason.Please join us in welcoming a Woodward native into the Roberson Exhibition Gallery as our August artist.
