March 12 – April 2, 2026 Thursdays | 3:30 – 5:00 pm Your child will learn: Understand the basics of safe woodworking practices Gain experience using essential wood shop tools Explore fundamental techniques like measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling Strengthen spatial awareness and problem-solving skills Develop fine motor skills and craftsmanship Use creativity to design and build unique wooden projects Class Cost & Support While the actual cost of the class is $125 per student, we welcome and appreciate any donations to help us continue offering enriching, accessible arts experiences for every child. Why Participate? Woodworking encourages confidence, creativity, and hands-on learning. Home school students may earn art or CTE credit (where applicable), and all participants can build pieces that strengthen their portfolio for college, scholarships, or future opportunities. Students also gain practical skills—like patience, focus, and problem-solving—that support success well beyond the workshop.
