Build A Bowl

Date: 9/11/26 Time: 6:00 – 8:00pm Location: Pocosin Arts’ Studio Building (use mural door); 201 Main Street, Columbia NC Come make bowls for a good cause! Each year, Food Bank of the Albemarle raises money to help fight hunger through the Empty Bowls event. Ticket holders at their event receive a bowl to remind them of the cause so we’re working to make the bowls. Build A Bowl is in conjunction with this cause – each participant gets to make one bowl to keep and one bowl to donate to the cause. Madeleine will walk everyone through how to handbuild their bowls using slabs, but experienced potters are welcome to join in on the fun too! The more bowls, the merrier. Participants will be able to pick up their finished bowl approximately 2-4 weeks after the class has ended.
