Karate In The Garage

A modern serpenty take on a timeless tradition to put a little kai in your cobra. According to Lauren, Nick also wanted a tiki guy option so here you go! Also available in blue and orange. Lead singer/guitarist Nick Williams formed Karate In The Garage in 2018 with brother John Chewning and buds Mike Lewis and Kenny Goldstone. Today's lineup features Nick complemented by Jimmy Reach on bass, and a bevy of special guests who can appear by surprise at any gig!! You like rock? Good! You like Country? We got ya. Got a little Pop in your soda? No prob. We're glad you asked! Collectively the guys (alongside much of the comedy feature film watching public) are big Stepbrothers fans - so when Brennan Huff (played by Will Farrell) realizes that he has just become best friends with Dale Dobach (played by John C. Reilly), Brennan enthusiastically inquires "Do you want to go do Karate in the Garage?" So there you go...We're just some great friends trying to play some music and make people happy. If we're not laughing (or giving each other dirty looks for missing a key harmony part), we often have special guests as mentioned above, join us mid-set...people that are part of a musical ecosystem of the greater Sarasota area that bring tears to our musical eye ducts.
