About this event
One of 24 upcoming events at Port Huron Museum.
The Blue Water area is filled to the brim with stories of prohibition, rum running, and police raids. From 1919 to 1933, the Volstead Act made the country dry…on paper. Step aboard our Trolley to learn all about why these laws were created, what it was like to be a bootlegger, how they smuggled booze from Canada or just made their own learn. Hear tales of crime, fortunes made and lost, and why the very best bootleggers don’t give up their secrets easily. This is a non-alcoholic, shortened edition of our Prohibition Bar Crawl. Think of it as a prohibition tour mocktail, if you will.
