About this event
One of 35 upcoming events at Poster House, and 5,302 across New York City.
Très mignon! Trailblazing female design duo Lefor-Openo created an iconic cartoon style in their posters, as highlighted in our exhibition Cuteness, Conservatism, & Consumption: Lefor-Openo and Postwar France. Lefor Openo’s signature characters are the template for this month’s Poster Tots workshop, which introduces little ones to the timeless joy of creating and decorating paper figures. Practice cutting and pasting and design a character that would fit right in on Lefor-Openo’s posters! Join Poster House for Poster Tots, a program designed to encourage children ages 2 to 4 (accompanied by their adults) to feel confident in museum settings. Advanced registration is required. This is not a drop-off program. Accessibility Note: Masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation or a CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is also available upon request. Please contact [email protected] or (914) 295-2387 to request interpretation services and to address any other accessibility needs. For other event-related questions, please contact [email protected].
