Mushroom Identification & Field Sketching for Kids and Families with Kim McNett Saturday, August 29 from 10:30am – 12pm | $20 per person, $15 per member Delve into the fascinating realm of fungi through this kid-friendly identification and sketching workshop with local artist-naturalist Kim McNett. We will integrate the science of mushroom identification with journaling and sketching as a process for learning. Basic supplies will be provided. Content and instructions are geared for ages 7-12, though all ages are welcome to attend. Please come dressed for the outdoors. Online registration required. About the Artist: Living in Homer, Alaska, Kim McNett’s award-winning art promotes the education and conservation of wild nature.
