About this event
One of 155 upcoming events at Preble County District Library.
Our Tween Filmmakers Club is back for another fun film-creating session! Tweens (ages 8-12) will be creating their very own short film from start to finish! Club members will be responsible for storyboarding, costume designing, script writing, filming, acting, and editing. This program includes hands-on lessons with a sewing machine, DSLR camera, editing software, and more! Tween Filmmakers Club will have five weekly Wednesday meetings in the month of September from 4:15 to 5:45. Attendance for this program is very important, and we request that participants attend all sessions. In addition, film club members are encouraged to take advantage of our optional open hours in the Maker Space to complete any projects they don’t have time to finish during regular meetings. This session will conclude with the film’s premiere on October 7th, where friends and family will have the opportunity to view the finished product. Each participant will also receive their own copy of the film to take home! Space for this program is limited, and positions fill very quickly. Registration begins August 12th.
