Print Center New York x APS | Virtual Talk: Parasol Press with Rachel Vogel and Judy Hecker

In conjunction with the exhibition Parasol Press: Breaking New Ground, currently on view at Print Center New York, join Print Center New York and the Association of Print Scholars for a virtual presentation by Rachel Vogel, Assistant Curator at the Addison Gallery of Art, followed by a dialogue with Judy Hecker, Executive Director Emerita of Print Center New York. Founded in New York in 1970 by Bob Feldman, Parasol Press quickly established itself as a platform for innovative print publishing by pairing Conceptual and Minimal artists with master printers such as Kathan Brown of Crown Point Press. In this talk, Vogel and Hecker will dive into the exhibition’s most technically daring and innovative editions and discuss how Feldman championed artists and printers and left a lasting impression on American printmaking.
