Meant for beginners curious about drypoint, in this workshop participants will use an etching needle to learn about intaglio processes without using a metal plate or acid bath. All participants will have the opportunity to create a drawing on a plexiglass sheet using a scribe, ink their plate, and print their matrix with multiple rounds of proofing. Led by Ian Ruppenthal, Assistant Printer & Studio Manager, Lower East Side Printshop. All materials are provided. Please note this workshop takes place at Lower East Side Printshop.
