The dunes rise and shift, the houses stand a little crooked with history, and the people bring a warmth that connects it all. I’m drawn to these imperfections. Through my paintings, I try to capture not just the scene, but the feeling of being there. Artist Bio Dianne is a messy, impatient painter who loves color and crooked lines. Dianne is drawn to imperfect and timeless objects. Old boats, wharves, and pilings are great subject matters. Abstract flowers in wonky vases and bathing suit clad figures are other personal favorites.
