Eco Printing & Bundle Dyeing Silk Scarves & Cotton Bandanas (May 2026) from $50.00 with Lilah Ward Shepherd Sat. May 30, 10am-1pm at the IC Press Co-op (225 N. Gilbert) pay-what-you-can: $50-240 Learn the process of eco printing also known as bundle dyeing. We will use dye plants to transfer color and impressions from the plants onto silk scarves and cotton bandanas. Some dye material will be provided but you are encouraged to bring leaves, flowers and herbs foraged from your garden. Some items you may have in your kitchen that work as well are: pomegranate rinds, yellow or red onion skins, berries, tea, black tea, cinnamon, paprika, coffee grounds, carrot tops, and any fresh herbs. Open to ages 14+. This workshop is open to all levels of experience. Registration deadline: May 9 *PS1 workshops are pay-what-you-can thanks to support from Hills Bank and individual donors. $194 is the true cost of the workshop for each participant. Her work has been exhibited across the United States and Canada. Her work explores color relationships, geometric shapes and patterning, relationships between forms and space while investigating human relationships, identity, ancestry, peace, comfort, and play.
