The Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari is an annual off-roading event held by the Tierra Del Sol Four-Wheel Drive Club, one of the oldest off-roading clubs in the United States. It’s the longest-running 4×4 driving event on the West Coast. Desert Safari typically takes place in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, which is home to Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreational Area, a large portion of the desert set aside for off-road activities.
