@ Cold stunning is the number one cause of sea turtle fatality in New York. This is why NYMRC needs your help! New York Marine Rescue Center (NYMRC) are the primary responders for sick or injured sea turtles and marine mammals in New York. The NYMRC maintains the only marine mammal and sea turtle rehabilitation center in New York State. The sooner these animals are found and reported to NYMRC, the higher chance of survival.
