About this event
One of 38 upcoming events at Racine Art Museum.
Look closely. Ask questions. Learn behind-the-scenes stories about artwork on display. Join us for Craft Chat, a monthly guided tour of RAM Downtown’s current exhibitions. Each tour offers ways to engage with contemporary craft and the remarkable objects in the museum’s galleries. This month, explore the recently opened Welcome Home, Toshiko: The Toshiko Takaezu Archive Debuts at RAM, and other highlights from Wood You Believe It?: Painted Wood from RAM’s Collection and Tanya Crane: Embodied Histories—Exploring the Legacy of African Jewelry. Craft Chat is led by Jaimianne Jacobin from the American Craft Council. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the contemporary craft field, Jaimianne brings an informal, conversational approach to exploring the stories behind objects. This is a free event.
