Tips & Info for re-sellers and swappers: Acceptable items: Good condition items with their original packaging or well-labeled and sealed packaging. Good condition accessories, fabrics like chiffons and cheesecloth, drapes, etc. Clean formalwear and gowns accepted. Everything must be well-labeled and organized by type in their respective categories. Sorry, paper and plastic plates, flatware, and cups will not be accepted. Community Tables: (See floor plan map): We will have community tables out with spaces labeled for certain item categories. We will also have two to three garment racks for those wanting to swap, give away, or sell formal wear and gowns. The community tables are for those who are able to properly label items and place out for display and collection during the main event hours. (Think of it in the same way a clothing or book swap works). Label your items: Please make sure your items are labeled and are properly packaged. If you are hoping to sell an item placed out on the community swapping tables, please make sure to bring a crate or basket for each type of item, and properly label it with your contact information and Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal information so people can purchase the item. Nothing larger than what can fit into a laundry basket sized space, please. You must supply all crates, totes, or basket needed to hold your items. Cash is key - how to transact: Expect most people to want to use cash over Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. I would recommend making a change purse or a lockbox with about $50-80 in small bills up to $20 denomination. Those mini accordion organizer envelopes people usually use for coupons are awesome. Count your cash before and after the swap. We will not make change for you at the bar. Have a sign printed and on your table (if you reserved a table) that is easy to read with your Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, or Cash App info. Haggling for items is perfectly acceptable. Setup time: Load in and set up is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday May 29th or from 10:0...
