Heart(Beat.) – Capstone Project

@ Heart(Beat.) is a 45-minute song cycle style musical that tells the stories of a few young, collegiate level performers struggling to represent their backgrounds, hardships, and cultures in the art they create. Singers, dancers, actors, playwrights, all trying to navigate the vulnerability of their art, and the toll that vulnerability takes on an artist. As they each work to prepare for the upcoming end of semester cabaret, they find that their histories may be more integral to their performance than they expected.
