National Hazing Prevention Week

National Hazing Prevention Week 2026 will be observed from September 21 to 25, focusing on education, advocacy, awareness, and leadership to prevent hazing. National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW) is organized by the Hazing Prevention Network and is held annually during the last full week of September. The week is dedicated to raising awareness, educating communities, and promoting proactive strategies to prevent hazing in schools, universities, organizations, and teams. The theme for 2026 is “Be the leader. Prevent hazing.” This emphasizes leadership and personal responsibility in creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments.
