Join us for a fun day at Smithsonian’s 163-acre National Zoo in the heart of Washington, D.C., welcoming nearly 2 million visitors from all over the world each year. The Zoo instills a lifelong commitment to conservation through engaging experiences with animals and the people working to save them. Today, the Zoo is home to animals representing almost 400 different species.
